Never said it wasn’t capable. What I am saying is that this M car isn’t special. My old man owned an E46 M3 and that’s the car I learned to drive stick on (spoiled I know). That car WAS special. The E60 M5, in my opinion, has a special motor, nothing else.

Oh I totally understand what it is and what it’s not - I suppose I’m just lamenting this category entirely. I mean, even GT cars used to be sporty, but it seems to me that this M8 is just like every other car out there; fat, overcomplicated, busy design, and generally not much in the way of feel/feedback.
