@Zombie Ms. Skittles: I've got fees waived by threatening to close my account. Now I just spend less than I deposit.

@Digital9: vm is like dreaming, and remote desktop is like being john malkovitch.

@squishyalt: expanding on the desktop thing, maybe the remote sessions should use windows classic or another theme.

@DaveyNC: "My soon-to-be ex-wife"

I couldn't get it working. When I added '—enable-extension-timeline-api' to the shortcut windows gave me an error. Anyone get it working?

There are already ion/atom nettops with HDMI for $200, so what does this bring to the table? Does it have an IR remote? What are the storage options? The nettops I've seen have e-sata ports on the back. Can usb2 cut it for 1080p video?

@darragh3277: a framework for php will provide a lot of helper functions for common tasks, but also makes it easier to build apps using proper MVC. MVC basically separates the data, how it is manipulated, and how it is presented to the user.

@Yerzriknot: get an ipod 5.5, get the imod upgrade (if you're a real audiophile), install rockbox, enjoy.

@kettlewhistle: I really liked the sound from the logitc pure-fi, it was like $100. I ended up getting an altec lansing that was on clearance for $70 (form $150!) because it had a 7 hour li-ion battery. You really should take your ipod to some stores and try them out for yourself. When it comes to sound I have to hear

does this work in situations where no glove = no love?

i tried to check out the "to do" app and i got a window asking me to sign into my google account, doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of logging into a google os?

@LoveMeSomeCode: W3C stats have never matched any production site I've worked on.

hopefully someone will design a killer app that totally shirks ie support so that a) ie will lose all marketshare and become irrelevant, or b) ie will start playing by the rules instead of trying to make them up and break them.

@khomel: the larger point is that IE8 doesn't support this stuff. That means it will be 8+ years before any of this is relevant. On the plus side, we can all start using silverlight in windows 7 on ei8!

Modern webapps with all sorts of javascript and web services require a lot more than just screenshots. I see a javascript tab, but I'm still skeptical how deeply I could debug nuanced differences with this.

Most of the adobe suite (flash, dreamweaver, fireworks, photoshop), every browser, and multiple vm for server/ie testing. I've got 3gb and it does the job, but for how much longer?
