The internet went down at my work (Starbucks) one day, and we were force approving credit cards, but we were unable to take our gift cards because we couldn't know if there was anything on the card. We comped those who didn't bring anything but their gift card with them (we get a lot of people coming in from

I've already decided that when I find a drive that is 2gigs/dollar I'll pull the trigger. They're on their way there, but not quite yet. It also helps that I'm going to eke out a few more years out of my current desktop before I look at building a new one, so hopefully they'll be even cheaper by then.

I've used this trick, even if I've showered. For some reason, God has decided to make me a smelly person, not matter how many showers/baths I take, so I have to be hyper vigilant about not offending others with my odor. I used to use antiperspirant, but after a few infected sweat glands, I had to stop. Now, before

I'm the exact opposite... I hate(d) that bar and arrow with a fiery passion, and probably wouldn't ever buy WP7 because of it. The asymmetry just irked me. My contract is up in December, and if I'm not impressed by the Nexus offering(s), I might have to jump to WP8.

Does anyone else think this looks photoshopped?

Why on Earth wasn't Fan Bingbing included on this? I think she and Diana Kruger shut it down at Cannes.

Random question: I hate fabric softener, but I also hate static on my clothes. Is there any way to get rid of the static build up without using something with fabric softener?

"If I had any complaints about the Galaxy S III, based on my brief play with it, the crux would revolve around the build quality" Wait, what? The guy hasn't even finished speaking. Did you get some sort of early access to the phone?

My guess is that the culprit was Cheney.

Agreed. I'd say HTC is giving them a decent run for their money, but outside of the Droid Razr, I've been disappointed with Motorola's offerings.

Actually, ICS has native stylus support.

Couldn't you make these cargo bikes with carbon fiber (if they aren't already)? or would the weight-loss be negligible when accounting for the weight of the cargo?

Wait, if he updates his record, wouldn't that mean that he would have to again update, as the edit count increased by one?

This is pretty cool, but, seriously, who puts jimmies on a waffle? It's not a donut!

As a displaced Clevelander, I have to agree, though we could be a little less rough to opposing teams fans. Besides the glass bottle incident, Cleveland is quite hostile to fans of the visiting team (beer dumping, general harrassment, etc.), and, to be honest, it makes me a bit uncomfortable. Well, except for

The salad mix was elementary school lunches, the pot was college "lunches", haha.

Holy crap, you just brought back memories of my elementary school lunches...

I have no idea how your comment relates to mine. The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is for people making under 13k a year, who if they fill out their forms correctly, won't have anything taken out of their paychecks except for FICA, which I'm almost 100% sure isn't related to your deductions.
