Once they realize they have to get off the couch to do it, most of them will shrug and get over it.

Or my fave: “beauty comes from within! If you feel beautiful, you are beautiful!”

I work out,and over the course of a day,I may take in half that amount;I feel like if I drank a gallon of water a day,it would look like a lost R. Kelly video or something...

My city of 25k had one employer subsidized daycare. It was at our hospital. It was open for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts to accommodate the shifts of the hospital employees. It was a private business though, one that also had two other locations, one at the community college for students and a regular daycare center. It

He had a contract. She settled.

“She doesn’t even go here”

I literally went through my tenth grade yearbook the other day to prove a point to my friend about the popularity of my name within a 5 year time frame (she’s a few years older so missed the surge). Out of a school of about 1000 students grades 8-12 I managed between 40-50 girls with a variation of my name or a name

Yep. Hubs and I picked a name for the wee raptor that we both liked, had a nod to our heritage, and was not one we’d ever heard growing up. Not in the top 20 where we live. And yet, once he was born, we suddenly ran across more boys with his name!

At least if you go with a different name, it is less stupid than going with an “original” spelling of the popular name. Madysynn and McKeylah are still Madison and Michaela to everyone they talk to, parents.

She might be more excited than we are. When I told her we needed to have a small assortment of clothes for all the ages we are willing to take she started hitting up thrift stores and yard sales and we can now outfit a small army of children ages infant to 5, both male and female because it was too hard for her to

Our other option is to ask some of our friends, but that’s an awful big thing to ask of people who aren’t literally family.

I loved gymnastics for the lack of team element, which I found to be very stressful. Far preferred being able to do my own thing with no one yelling at me. But the pressure and mean girls in gymnastics led me to move on to swimming (still too much pressure for me when I got good at it) and then fencing, at which point

you guys sound like awesome parents, some of the girls i competed with could have benefited from parents like you and my mom. the system is ridiculous. if you don’t start them straight out of the womb it’s very hard to catch up and you feel like an outsider, i really hate that.

the sport was invaluable in teaching me time management, independence and a regimented work ethic. it really set me up for success and i wouldn’t trade that for anything even with the injuries. i made life long friends and i learned to appreciate and love the human body and the limits you can push it to.

I go to PTA things once a year: to vote for the president of the PTA, as that can be done when I pick up the kids at school and not at meeting times. On other hand, I give approximately 3x as much as the suggested yearly donation, so the PTA moms should thank me for my cash. The cash that I get at my job, that I do

Well, obviously starting an art contest at school is exactly like building bombs in your own bedroom, like the Columbine kids, so yeah, it is pretty horrifying that the neglectful working mom didn’t know.

Wimmen, amirite? Either they're complaining about sexual harassment or equal pay or whatever Ivanka was taking about last week. They'll learn that in America That Is Great that stuff won't fly anymore. Sad!

Or has she deviated too much from her ‘girl next door’ thing and now they don’t like her anymore

No idea honestly...maybe it is squats....maybe it’s fillers/plastic surgery??? (fyi, sing that in your head like the maybe she’s born with it maybe it’s Maybeline jingle)

Like all amphibians, Newt struggles to balance his two lives.
