That’s the bit I love about the “Get over it, just give him a chance!” whiners.... Give him a chance to, what, do every single horrible thing he promised to do in his bloodcurdling campaign?

Why would you be in the minority? Contrary to rumors, liberals have every bit as much love for their country as conservatives. Just because a few politicized assholes at the top are corrupt motherfuckers doesn’t mean there’s no respect for the rank and file.

My theory about Trump is that he reads his audience. He can be affable one-on-one but he defaults to MAGADipshit.

Cannot believe for a second that he basically implored them to not negatively criticize the President and his cabinet. HAHAH! I have no sympathy for these massively underqualified fools.

The bigger problem is the winner-take-all nature of the way most states award votes. Trump got 47% of the vote in Michigan and received all of their EVs. More people didn’t want him to be President than did in that state, but all his electors were seated.

Better yet, quote George Washington 1790: “...to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance.”

Ah, but you forget, Obama was on Twitter every day bashing his critics, attacking war heroes, civil rights legends, the disabled, and gold star parents while critiquing women based on their looks and hinting that they had secretly done porn.

In the waning months of Blagojevich’s tenure as Illinois governor, when it was clear that he was going to be impeached, removed and then jailed, he was going through spokespeople at an epic pace. It was like, “Who hasn’t quit yet? You? Put down that mop, you’re my spokesman now.” I expect we’ll reach that point with…

You can also point out how flawed the EC is. If we are talking only two candidates (which for most practical reasons it is), Trump could have theoretically won the Presidency with only 21.5% or about 30 million of the total ~137 total votes. This is of course a hypothetical where Trump wins the least populous states…

And I think it’s just unbelievably frustrating when you’re continually told, “It’s not big enough, it’s not good enough, you can’t win.”

That we are being told by people who spent the last 8 years questioning Obama’s ‘legitimacy’ and accusing Hilary of running pizza pedophile rings to ‘respect the office’ and ‘get over it, we won’ is perhaps the most bizarre aspect of this whole thing.

I don’t feel “bad” for Spicer, but I’ve been in DC for a long time now and I’ve seen a lot of press secretaries come and go, but Spicer is already at the peak “I’m going to have a fucking aneurysm from this job at any moment!” phase that typically takes at least 1-2 years to hit.
