Good point.
The man was definitely multi-talented, but recording new music and dialog after his death would have been taking it to the next level.
Damn, this makes me feel old.
My understanding is he and Weird Al worked it out and went merrily along with their lives. While drama plays well in fan magazines, the reality is the whole Amish Paradise issue was a business dispute, not a personal one.
“...this does imply that Sterling was getting a steady bourbon drip the whole time he was in the coma.”
I think they just skipped her to focus on Bernard’s mission.
They actually edited it together from canned dialog from previous seasons. Yes, the actors are both most sincerely dead, so we won’t see their characters returning, ever.
“It took some time to land the renewal, but not because Prime Video wasn’t sure about it. Gaiman didn’t initially want to create a second season since the second story was unfinished before Sir Terry Pratchett’s death.”
Gaiman initially said it would be too painful to finish a sequel after Pratchett’s death. He died in 2015, so it’s entirely possible Gaiman changed his mind after he’d grieved his friend’s passing.
Maybe Sam’s taken over the bartender job at the leaper bar. Dr. Seong has to get there eventually, right?
It was always a subtext, but considering these were 18th century vampires I don’t think they’d be all that open about it. LeStat was explicitly bisexual in the books and refers to Louis as his lover. While the movie portrayed Louis and LeStat more as like partners in crime, the interaction between Louis and Armand had…
As I recall, Gaiman initially said there wouldn’t be a sequel. I guess truckloads of Amazon cash helped change his mind.
Actually, that’s exactly what he’s going with.
While I’m sure breaking his jaw was a traumatic and painful experience, he seems to have gotten over it just fine. It’s all the gossip consumers who were freaking out over the temporary change in his appearance.
“You’ll hook up with a hot chick, and then they figure out you’re not making any money from it and they’ll dump you.”
I don’t see a need to add too many new cast members. They had way too many people the last couple of seasons, which resulted in not seeing some of the players for weeks at a time. I think a smaller cast will help the show.
True. I think he’ll find success elsewhere.
