Oberyn: “We do not hurt little girls in Dorne.”

I respectfully disagree. Spider-Man is supposed to be a kid, and is supposed to grow into his powers. Ant-Man takes place in 2015 and Civil War takes place in 2016. He’s had his powers for a year to year and a half, tops. He’s just a kid, and has a lot of growing to do. Just wait until Homecoming, and you see a high

Spidey, depending on the run and what Marvel decides on that page they maintain can press between 20 and 40 tons above his head repeatedly. That’s 40,0000 to 80,000 pounds. He ‘s like 250 x stronger than the average man. (The average man’s press is not very high, I know you all can do 300 pounds, but average 50 to 70%

People forget that Spider-Man is super strong, like, able to lift 20 tons strong.

If there’s a version of Spider-Man who’s NOT quippy, I don’t wanna know about it.

There are actually people complaining about Spider-Man being quippy, and I’m not sure I want to live in this world anymore.

Don’t blame him, his scroll’s auto-correct changes it back to daughters.

Yet again, you’re assuming Thorne is acting rationally in pursuit of enlightened self interest. Crows kill Wildlings, and Thorne will be damned to all Seven Hells before a snotty child like the wildling-fucking Bastard of Winterfell tells him otherwise.

Aww, Jamie can’t spell the word “nieces.”

I am consistently impressed by how good some of the actors on this show are. Lena Headey’s ability to convey all of that emotion in one shot where she barely moves is amazing.

I will be absolutely heartbroken if something happens to Pod!

Thanks. That explains the whole “how did they get on the ship” argument. He was already back in Drone.

Characters like Brienne and Davos are good, nice people; even in the books they represent a sort of stoic moral outlook that larger players have chosen to abandon on their quest for power / vengeance / whatever.

HBO posted a picture of the letter that Doran received (I filled in the rolled portion as I assume it reads). Looks like Jaime is trying to avoid war and protecting Trystane. If only the timing had been better.

And keep her away from any trash compactors.

Sansa and Brienne

What’s even more amazing is that Cersei actually *remained* a sympathetic character for the duration of the episode. Usually after revealing her all-too-human fears or pain, she immediately does something to remind the audience that she’s a truly terrible person.

Sansa definitely is in good hands with Brienne - who remains an unequivocal badass.

Side note, I’m very happy to see a full and proper recap on the site. I’ve missed reading recaps for the shows I like to watch (even read those that I don’t watch) and have been disappointed in the direction Gawker is taking io9 lately. Thanks, CJA!

Thorne deciding to execute JS for letting the wildlings through the gate, after they have done so is not dissimilar to Ted Cruz vowing to tear apart the Iran agreement after we’ve already paid them. like what does murdering him accomplish if they’re already on the other side of the wall other than satisfy some need to
