This happens to me in Star Wars the Old Republic a lot. I have two LS Sith characters. I have fleshed out backgrounds and philosophical reasons they have for being LS sith in my head, and when I’m choosing dialogue that’s in mind. So something that can sound on the nice/empathetic/light side is then revealed to be a

I’m so bad with that stuff. I usually try to leave immediately when I realize what the conversation is turning into. But if they insist then I’ll eventually do the “wat” face. And if they keep talking it will end with my laughing and them being very offended..

This is such a huge pet peeve of mine in modern work culture, at least in the US. Someone salaried who can get their work done in 6 hours is someone who’s actually getting shit done. Yet the person working 9 hours doing the exact same amount of work the 6 hour person did gets praised for being dedicated, hard working,

I was on board the first reply. Then it went downhill at a speed I did not think possible. If we could somehow harness it then space travel would no longer be a problem.

Lol! Maybe our clothing throws them off :) It’s like the red stuff on cheese. “Can I eat all of that? What if I’m not supposed to...? Eating humans is too complicated.”

I don’t like pen eyeliners because they’re so watery. They smudge incredibly easy.

This troll is a sneaky little shit. They have a pretty good concept of what to say to rile people up and how to react in a “Whaaaat? Me? Never! You’re weird for taking what I said the way I wanted you to so I could pick an argument to irritate and befuddle you!”

Yeah my biggest problem is that it’s 100% an assumption on her part at this point. She never talked to him, she was never told he got tested in August, she never asked, etc. She’s mad that he lied to her about getting tested in August, but by her account he never said he did. He told her every 6 months, but what if he

I’ve thought about that but the problem I’m having is that humans have come into contact with them a lot. There have been lot of Native and Inuit tribes along the west coast in the PNW and Canada that hunted on the ocean and lived off of hunting seals/narwhals/etc. Which is also what orcas in those areas feed on, so

Like fucking if only we dealt with our past the way Germany has dealt with theirs. That’d be amazing if we handled our past instead of constantly trying to down play it, “That was so long ago! Why are you still whining!?”, “But if we add this to the school curriculum we’ll look less awesome!”, etc etc.

I see what you’re saying. I really think it’s one sided right now because she’s the one essentially attacking another for something they both have responsibility in. If you’re both at fault, it’s eye brow raising to have one side go “NO, you are totally to blame for this! You’re awful! I’m innocent!” so the reaction

Plus what if her SO gave it to her? Like what if he was going to tell her then she started foaming at the mouth about this guy?

Personally, I just detest the way we vilify people if they have a STI. I’m only talking about her because she is the one trying to make him sound like a dirty gross person for having a STI. If she gave him the STI and he had the same reaction (you’re a dirty gross person) then I would have the exact same reaction.

This. We have a fucking national football team call the redskins. I don’t think we are in any position to wag our fingers at Germany for having a comedy about hitler.

For northern animals like seals, narwhals, penguins, etc that does make a lot of sense. I know there are orca pods in southern waters, I wonder if their diet has a similar focus on fat reserves?

Even so, given more thought to it, there are many animals where we aren’t part of their normal diets but if given the right circumstances to kill us they will. Using your previous example, grizzly bears have a varied diet. We aren’t in their territory much, but there are still cases of them killing and eating us.

I am specifically talking about wild Orcas. I think looking at captive Orca behavior is more akin to looking at human behavior while we’re in jail/solitary/etc.

I’m talking about wild Orcas :)

I’ve always heard that we taste bad. I wonder what causes that?

We confirm people being killed by animals all the time whether or not they were alone when it happened though.
