Orcas don’t really fit into that though. I watched a recent PBS documentary on orcas and they eliminated an entire pod of narwhals. They hunted and killed like 20 individuals.

I wonder how long they maintain that knowledge? You hear of bears attacking people and being killed as a result not infrequently. I can’t think of a recent example of an orca being killed because it harmed a human.

So it’s just a matter as no one has been in the wrong place at the wrong time with an hungry orca pod?

From my understanding those attacks were like they flipped a canoe. I’ve never heard of them biting people or trying to drown them in the wild.

I thought about the last question the other day. Orcas kill a very large variety of prey around the world. Each group adjusts depending on the area, but it seems they have no qualms killing manta rays, seals, great whites, whales, and other dolphins.

That sounds like the bar in my hometown that had a drink called date grape or something.

Even if she was armed this would be horrible. Why would you flip someone around by the neck/face then fling them across the floor if they had a gun or a knife? That doesn’t sound like a safe way to apprehend them and secure the weapon :/
