Having just finished a reread of 1984, I really wish I could upvote this more than once.

YES! There has been some competition in recent years but that remains my all-time favorite finale as well.

I sort of assumed that Diana's powers were in addition to her being a Hexenbiest. I realize Hexenbiests aren't actually Wesen but I assume that like Wesen, they don't have woge ability until they hit puberty or thereabouts.

As if I didn't already love him enough!

Definitely. I also thought he was great in the scenes with his mom and aunt.

See how easy it would have been Grimm writers?

I can't say I loved the finale, mostly because of the fake-out but as Les points out, it is kind of fitting for this quirky show and I would much rather have the gang still alive so I'm ok with it. It was nice to see the future in the epilogue but I do wish he had gotten one last dinner scene with Team Grimm.

Based on their conversation, it seems the gym is the only place she goes outside of work and spending time with family so it makes sense that is what they would try. Unless they wanted to both do grocery store meet cutes.

It's not unprecedented that they would do something like this without consulting them but it could also be that she is spying for someone other than the USSR. It may even be the CIA since Stan isn't exactly a favorite of theirs at the moment.

That's awesome. I hope you continue to comment here with insight into this type of thing.

The more I think back on 80s fashion, the more confident I am that it was the result of escalating dares among the fashion powers that be to get the public to embrace the most ridiculous thing they could put in front of us.

I don't think assumptions are made one way or the other, research is done by The Centre in advance to determine the best targets among the people who have the desired access or information.

Based on the conversation between Gabriel and Claudia a couple of weeks ago, The Centre seems to be keeping track of him so I expect they will intercept Mischa before he gets that far.

Oh my god, I had those two toned jeans too! I forgot all about them but I loved them!

I don't think they would give up the idea entirely, I just don't think they'd do it without the help of the parents. I can't imagine that they would want to risk what happened to Jared again by handling it the same way, behind Philip and Elizabeth's backs.

I'm not sure how realistic it is that the wig wouldn't come off but we have seen her having sex with a variety of wigs in the past.

I know I (and a few others) write this every week but everyone should be listening to The Slate's podcast on the show.

I think he knows how dangerous it would be but he also feels backed into a corner. I hate that he thinks Stan is to blame when Stan is actually putting his own neck on the line to protect him.

Others have brought up Henry being recruited but I highly doubt it after what happened to Jared. I don't think it's a matter of the Centre leaving him alone because they are decent, but they know they're pushing Elizabeth and Philip hard and it would be stupid for them to try to interfere with Henry when everyone is

Yes, my interpretation was that they took the wives to punish the husbands. I would be very surprised if she tells Oleg's dad but I can't imagine Oleg is off the hook.
