So glad that you are back and feeling better. I really enjoyed (that's probably not the best way to phrase it) your analysis of this aspect of the show last season.

Yes, but she doesn't realize (or let herself contemplate) to what extent their entire lives are an act.

I get the sense that she goes out of her way not to think about what exactly they do. It's really just too much for her to comprehend.

It's 10pm, do you know where your children are?

I should have checked the comments before I posted the same thing about Oleg! I'm so worried about Poor Oleg.

I wonder how long until Paige realizes that her parents aren't just pretending to be other people when working, but that Elizabeth and Philip aren't real either? That kid is a ticking time bomb.

As a huge fan of the film Mommie Dearest, I couldn't help but smile at the fact that Crawford added in the "very rare" when ordering steaks for her daughters.

I thought the hydrangea hat she wore to Bette's was a little out there, but the mauve/lavender hat was everything!

“How do you say ‘I’m vegetarian’ in German?” (Shame he didn’t bring Monroe with him.)

Apropos of nothing, Grimm-wise but I watched the first two episodes of Feud and LOVED it! Thanks for encouraging me to check it out. So looking forward to the next episode, particularly because it's titled Mommie Dearest!

According to the podcast, the wheat was grown in a town called Red Hook (not Red Hook, Bk) in upstate NY.

Agreed. I am surprised that his death has become such a huge focal point when, other than Kate's feeling that she killed him, the cause of death has no real impact on the characters. I wonder if this was the original plan or if the show saw that this is what the fandom was talking about and are now going tweaking

I didn't even realize AVC was reviewing it so thanks for letting me know. I should be able to catch up before the next new ep and I'll be sure to check out the review and comments section.

I haven't started Feud yet but I plan to and have heard she is involved. She also had a small role on Bryan Cranston's Amazon show Sneaky Pete.

Upvoted for a fellow curly-hair that won't succumb to our society's straight hair agenda!

I hadn't thought of that but I'm sure it's crossed their minds. I was thinking that they are seeing him more as a potential recruit, given his love of the Mother Land.

I'm calling it. Mail Robot went on strike once Martha disappeared.

I missed the Buffy poster but I will look out for those details next season.

"Be more clever, show."

I was expecting the famous blood vessel to make an appearance at Bennigan's when Elizabeth had to listen to the defector talk shit about Russia again. That is impressive restraint from her and Philip hearing having to hear that and pretending not to understand when they speak their language. I loved how she responded
