YES! I kept thinking, I know I should be on the CIA's side in this whole Cold War thing but damnit, not if it means danger for Oleg.
Was I the only one who thought their trick for keeping her emotions in check during sex was going to be much creepier than just rubbing her thumb and finger together?
I'm sure there are conversations I'm not remembering since it's been awhile but I remember thinking he caught on as well as someone who doesn't know what we know could and by the time things were becoming more clear, Norman was released.
I was thinking that too but I hope it's not the case, both for the narrative as well as for the fact that they did this before with Blair Watson (I think that was the teacher's name?). I am still thinking Madeline survives a couple more episodes and will be the shower victim.
So excited for the return of the psychiatrist. I thought he was a great addition last season and was hoping we'd see him again.
Does Juliette (sorry, I can't even pretend she is Eve or even a combination any longer) have no respect for other people's belongings? How many of Rosalee and Monroe's mirrors is she going to ruin?!
I was (wishful) thinking the same thing! It would be even funnier if they didn't even try to get her and just shrugged and moved on with their lives when they realize she crossed over.
It was a very Law & Order type response.
It's ridiculous that AVC stopped the full reviews with so few episodes remaining but kudos to Les for continuing to basically write a full review in bullet point form.
I was trying to remember who it was that did the tally! Hopefully he'll be here next week.
Interesting theory and I keep expecting a time jump but I don't think we're on different timelines at this stage. A few reasons already pointed out make sense plus Pasha's father works for or is at least working with the US Dept. of Agriculture which I expect will tie into Oleg's story line so they would have to be…
I'm thinking Mischa and Tuan are going to end up as roomies.
I don't consider it obtuse at all but the show does generally allow storylines to play out naturally rather than spell everything out for the viewer. It's one of the reasons I love it so much.
PSA: Slate's The Americans podcast is back! Be sure to check it out for further insight into this incredible show. There are now commercials for Blue Apron to suffer through but it is absolutely worth listening to for all fans of the show.
The showrunners discussed that scene in this week's podcast. One of the reasons this show is so brilliant is how much research they do into seemingly mundane tasks to ensure they are realistic.
His quick brush-off when his father asked him about his first day and his boss made me wonder the same thing.
They had some sort of contraption that looked like a metal detector that seemed to guide them. There was a label that said "Do not burn" or something to that effect. That could have just been a cheat by the writers but I suppose it's possible that they wouldn't want to burn the body for fear of the disease becoming…
If it had returned in January, I would definitely have watched live the whole season (providing it's as good as last season) but so many good shows are now back or returning in the next few weeks that I expect this will build up on my dvr. I'm still looking forward to it though.
Underground is back.
