Great observations again. It would be interesting to see more of Manny and how/if he grows, however with only a few episodes left, I'm not sure we'll get that.

I think that's a great analysis of Manny and it's probably correct but man, I still hate the guy. OTOH, I love how it cause the other housemates to rally around Daniel and that increased bonding will only be good for him so I guess we have Manny to thank for that.
Him doing the dishes and them retrieving the fishing poles alleviated my anxiety but then the rifles ratcheted it up again. Not sure if that's what the show was going for but I was definitely nervous about Teddy's fate.
"She is paying mightily for her "sin" of feeling that deep connection to abused Daniel's brokeness and that safe-space of their friendship."
I was on edge throughout the whole grilling/house break-in endeavor. First I thought he was going to torch the place and then when the rifles came out, I was sure it would end badly. I knew Teddy had grown on me but I didn't realize how much I cared about him until this episode.
I hear you and applaud your efforts for as long as it lasted!
I have a difficult time believing either of them are very involved in their son's life.
They are also going to put a significant strain on the NYPD which will end up costing taxpayers millions of dollars per year so his grandiose offer of not taking a salary means less than nothing.
Ok, I know I've been away for awhile but isn't this Mr. Lincoln's job? What did you do to EL?!
I actually really liked the reveal that Bernard is a host but that's a card they can only play once in order for it to work. It will irritate me if other employees turn out to be hosts as well.
Also Mark Zuckerberg. Wait, things are starting to make sense…
I'm not expecting to get more info about his motives. My assumption is that it's a combination of fascination, infatuation, fear and curiosity that is driving him. Also naivite since he was genuinely surprised that she went after Sylvester when anyone with half a brain should have known that is exactly what she was…
I'm skeptical but I hope you're right that she's still alive.
I didn't buy into that theory but I agree the show seems to be hinting at it more strongly. I'm still not sure it checks out though. So, if William really is the MiB, that would mean she has been questioning her reality for, what, 30 years now? Wouldn't someone have caught on to that fact by now?
I'll go with Conviction if the voting is still open.
Agreed. I know Amantha has other ideas in mind for what her life should be but something about her easing into her new management job and her seeming to really enjoy herself while just sitting around drinking cheap beer with Billy makes me wish she would just let herself enjoy the moments and see where it leads her.
I keep going back and forth about whether I want the show to provide us with a conclusion. Ever since Chris' name was mentioned last season, I assumed he would be named as the culprit and I still think that's a strong possibility.
I just caught up on this season and I understand the points some are making but I still think the show is doing an incredible job of what it does best which, to me, is delving into these characters and letting us see right into their souls.
I'm not as invested in their marriage but as I've watched these past couple of episodes, I'm simply amazed at the empathy and compassion I have for Teddy, a character I despised in S1. The writers and Clayne Crawford have done an incredible job transforming his character, in a believable way.
Chloe started growing on me this episode but I completely agree about their relationship being a temporary one and the way she handled the PTSD conversation seemed to help Daniel put it into perspective.
