Read in incorrect succession and thought “HEY WAIT A MINUTE”:

Yeah—that’s gimmicky as all hell but I do truly love it.

What about the signed copy of a photo of The Goonies cast? That’s the exact moment I thought “This is a garage sale.”

Wait, I thought this was a modern sequel? As in this movie is in the past-event’s continuity.

We need good films great stories, period. Honestly, I’m not trying to change the landscape here, just promote good storytelling.

This sentiment is probably the one I agree with the most. Let’s make female roles the norm so that we can start judging the films (for better or worse) based on content. It’s fun to celebrate, but there has to be something counter-productive (and, in all honesty, predictable and boring) in saying “HEY LOOK WE’RE

Seamless Android integration, mostly. I’m not an Android fanboy, but I do like one clean experience, and Android is the one I’ve chosen. I like the mobile experience a lot though, and haven’t revisited Spotify’s in over a year, so there could be improvements there. I like the ability to upload my current local library

It’s really no surprise. Despite the average consumer paying for a streaming music service already, the fact remains that you most likely can’t imagine not having one, much like Netflix. So the battle is always to have the best one.

And 1990s Shaggy is Stephen Malkmus.

So 1990s Velma is Daria. This makes so much sense.

I’d be into that. I still never finished the first.

Cool. Well, we’ll check back in with you when your VR headset is still pretty unremarkable in 3 years or so.

I’m just commenting in regards to tech, generally, especially something so new. All of these announcements are cool but I’m not holding my breath.

We’re still 5-10 years away from this actually being worthwhile, IMO. From production-ready hardware, to first-adopter bugs, to actual, engaging content, there’s still a lot of waiting to do.

Since continuity is Marvel’s thing in films (IE character-actor continuity, for the most part), and, let’s all admit that it’s part of what we love about this universe, this whole face-changing event for the heroes seems like a preemptive effort to make “re-casting” a character at least familiar canon. If it then
