This sounds really fun. I am concerned though if the picks will have the round edges like most picks. The sharpness of a gift card might tear up my high E.

@Screen name: I've taken the opposite approach. Thankfully, I'm done with school. For the time being, anyway.

Too bad I'd still fail this class. Whatever kind of math it is, I'm not good at it.

Is that the Apple merit badge?! NOOOOO!!

I think I hear background space ship sounds effects from the bridge room in Starcraft 2. Anyone?

@foofad: Draw the line, jump over it.

@OtakuMan24: You see this?! THIS, IS MY iPHONE!

Excuse my language but I fucking LOVE the Evil Dead Franchise.

@ninjamurf: Except the many times where I concretely said "Its not going to happen until forced." Quit reading what you WANT to use in your arguments. The selectivity of your methods is pretty damn annoying.

@ninjamurf: You can rationalize it all you want, and indeed I AGREE. I just don't see it happening in my lifetime. Its an "issue" you can only fight by saying "It will makes things so much easier" and the fact that there already is an established norm, it seems a difficult task. Maybe people will surprise me, but I

@ninjamurf: Read a little further, if you can.

@Pure87: Generalizations can get you into trouble, use them wisely. Saying that "everyone SHOULD be able to do anything" is just wishful thinking.

@ninjamurf: You can't convince me that if there was a vote (which there very well should be) on a switch to the metric system that that wouldn't cause a wide variety of voters, probably older voters, to say "We don't want to switch cause we don't want to switch," and their votes count just as much as any.

@Mike43110: @ninjamurf: @Mike43110: I never said it wasn't going to happen, and surely a boycott with the US in a position of inferiority (economically) would cause us to switch. I'm just saying its not going to happen until we're forced.

@cdando: Its not going to happen, I'm sorry. Not only because of the social aspects (Americans' feelings toward foreign influences, learning curve, not giving a shit, what have you). Its the same reason why we're going to use every last drop of oil before we make a complete switch to another energy source. It costs

@BONERJAM: Agreed. Zombies have been done to death if you consider all installations, but if you consider the ones done correctly, this is a welcome addition to that group. Totally awesome, totally worth the money.

The only time I care about metric is when I'm working on my car and I have to go buy a separate wrench to finish the job. Goddamn metrics.

The fact that it got stuck, broke a wheel, and then was labeled a stationary scientific outpost cracks me right up.
