it's their right to do it, but I still think it's a dick move to include all the stuff in the disc (meaning it was TESTED AND APPROVED before it was manufactured) and charge for it, and doesn't come up as "customer friendly".

this

I suppose half of devs don't really know how to use it, probably go after some Epic example and adapt their design to it. as dumb as it sounds, that's how it looks like to me for many games. and the other half really don't know how to use it and you get stuff like The Last Remnant which are just a technical mess

I'm more optimistic about X-COM (the good one) than SimCity, but if Jerry Martin was the composer I'd go to Origin and pre-order it right now (because he isn't, I'm safe then!)

I'm almost sold on this game, but I'll wait for the demo before deciding, and a PC version might also change my mind about getting it on the PS3, even if it comes out 6 months later, especially because there's no splitscreen multi.

hopefully no one uninformed bought KZ3 multi for the 24hrs double XP (I know I didn't)

this is awesome

I don't think I have read anything about this game before, but it really sounds interesting.

I still have mine too (don't know if this is yours)

haven't played FFX, but I agree about random encounters and turn-based.

so you're basically mad that the series didn't become what you wanted after the first game and now 25 years later every game except the first one kind of sucks.

I think the moneygrabbing plot was the DLC, which was really free money. I feel like this is about fixing the original design, more gamey than Civ4 if that makes any sense, which (possibly) in the end didn't work as well as they expected, and with Schafer out of the way I suppose it's easier to do it.

Nah, I'd say 50:50, it's always spot on.

Now playing

"Some good ones?" You know you'll have to update the post with every track from every game!

surely I'm not the only one who actually feels let down when a dev is EXCITED to announce "extensive DLC support", especially with the likes of Capcom and Namco?

yes

I downloaded it on the PSN, played a few levels and then stopped playing it. when I stop buying new games* I'll go back to it.

I bought the Capcom Super Bundle on the PSN. I mean, it's like a Steam deal, I couldn't resist it, especially with Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.
