2005's War of the Worlds and 2002's The Time Machine.

Are you thinking of Blue Nile? Good food but slightly disappointed that they don't serve kitfo.

I told my spouse that you had mentioned Today's Special in your post, and also told him that I had no idea what you were talking about. He then sat down and forced me to watch the opening. Just wanted to say, thanks for that.

Out of curiosity, what kind of physician diagnosed you? Family practice/internist or was it a urologist? And when you say they ruled out prostrate problems, does that also include BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy), since the addition of Cialis may imply BPH (although I could be wrong). If it is BPH, some behavioral

I watched The Lone Ranger and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button around the same time. I enjoyed the bookends from The Lone Ranger much more than Benjamin Button.

Poor Idris Elba.

I hate the comments about how I am doomed to die alone since I don't have kids. Frankly, working in medicine has taught me that just because you have kids, doesn't guarantee they'll be there with you when you're sick/dying.

While I was perfectly fine with Jo and Laurie not ending up together, it always bugged me that Laurie ended up with Amy. I hated her. I always thought she was spoiled and shallow, and it seriously annoyed me that Beth died instead of Amy.

Not bad. Now the academy only has to actually gives the awards to George Miller and Mad Max.

Wow. First David Bowie and now Alan Rickman.

I tried to have the Mirena IUD placed last month but unfortunately was not successful due to cramping during the procedure, despite taking ibuprofen 800 mg about an hour before the procedure. However, that said, my experience is the exception rather than the rule and most women, I believe do fine with placement. I

I know parents that have named their kid Chlamydia, which is a pretty name but unfortunately also an STD. I feel sorry for that kid.

I always liked this line From 'Everyone's Free (To Wear Sunscreen):

Already have and it was great!

The first time I saw City of Lost Children, I was in college and it was being shown in one of the classrooms. The projectionist screwed up and showed the reels out of order. Nobody realized it, thinking that the incoherence was just part of the movie. While this viewing made more sense, I can't say that I enjoyed

It was good. Saw Crimson Peak, which, although not a great movie, was one of the more fun movies I've seen lately (the other movies consisting of 99 Homes, Sicario, City of Lost Children, and Angel Heart).

I just recently started watching it (getting the discs from Netflix) and really enjoy it. Although I enjoy some the interpersonal drama, I mostly enjoy getting an idea of medicine from that time, when surgery was, in a way, very limited in what it could accomplish and the discovery of penicillin was still decades

Thanks for the info.

I am scheduled to get it placed next month. I have heard that it can cause irregular spotting/bleeding for a while (up to several months). If you don't mind me asking, how was it for you after you had it placed?

I agree. It still bugs me that they changed the title of E.L. Konigsburg's book "Father's Arcane Daughter" to "My Father's Daughter".
