By the end of the series, it’s really about the Biologist and a couple other characters...who they are, who they become and their journey to get there. It’s more of a Lovecraftian character study than anything else. Also, the books aren’t long, so it’s not like you’ll waste a lot of time reading them if you don’t end

What about this one?

I’m sure it will be a light hearted romp of a film with cute kids and animals.

I dont know how I feel about this.

Internet’s overall opinion of Batman v Superman.

Best news of my day so far

Completely agree that it was the Shadow books where the anti-LGBT became very apparent. As in even me, who didn’t realize that the Narnia books were about Christianity (Jewish kid so it flew right over my head), could even tell. First he shows Anton, the admittedly gay character, as miserable and haunted.(Or at least

LOL fair enough, but atleast unlike all the special snowflakes we have now, these ones were actually special :) Personally I’d just prefer to see Bean’s perspective over Ender’s.

I’ll agree with an animated series.

No, it’s nearly black - lots of myoglobin.

When did Ender’s Game become classified as YA. We’re talking about a book that’s recommended reading for carrier military.

That wasn’t Riddler and Two-Face. That was Carey and Jones having a Nicholson-as-Joker-off.

The difference is that Batman Forever had characters that were telling jokes to other characters and trying to be comedic in-universe. Batman & Robin had characters who were being earnest in-universe and then turning to the camera and winking at the audience; the humor wasn’t flowing from the characters so much as it

I’m just taking it too literally. I read Dune when I was 14 so I get that. Harry Potter would be Grade through High school but I don’t recall anyone referring to it as YA. I guess I just have bad associations with the term. Every time I hear YA, this comes to mind.

My dad ate it during WWII. He said that it was very rich and he didn’t like it much. Which said a lot, as he was English and would eat all sorts of things that the rest of us wouldn’t. When my mother cooked special meals for him, even the cat went outside until the smell dispersed.

Oh, it’s rumored that anything less than a billion is a disappointment. Much in the way the Spider-Man reboot and even Man of Steel were disappointing though for any other film they’d have been huge successes.
