The main problem with season 7 and The First was they didn’t have the money to bring in all the actors they wanted to. Episode 1 bought in all the main villains from every other season... and then we got Dru for a couple of episodes, a few no name actors, Spike, Preacher man for 1 scene and Buffy for the rest.

I think it might be that your tiger and Shere Khan are different types of tigers? I’m not well-versed enough in tigerology* to know the differences between the various subspecies, but I know there are. I found this pic online that I think explain it pretty well:

Oh god I hate to be the Jungle Book nerd, but in Kipling’s story, Shere Khan is lame and can’t hunt well, which leads to his preying on village cattle and becoming a man-eater. In other words, he’s supposed to be kind of mangy looking.

That’s a lazy American for you - never wants to exercise.

I was glancing through that issue of Sandman on a spinner rack at B. Dalton in the mall by my parents while killing time. Between that panel and the one of Death palm catching the ball (don’t get me started on the Shema panel), I immediately started hunting down the previous issues and sort of sweated it when I had to…
