Do it, and get the mods from FSOpen. There is a battlestar galactica mod called Diaspora that is insanely good. A babylon 5 mod, while no longer worked on was also good. Plus there is a HD mod out there for all the ship models. FS2 still has an active mod community.

Totally agree. That movie holds up so fucking well, and puts all the Bayformers movies to shame.

As a kid, I believe one of the Autobots said “Shit”, which for an afternoon cartoon, was mind blowing.

Even with the kinda weird crap like Eric Idle’s junkerbot, Transformers: The Movie was and is awesome. Optimus dying. Starscream getting vaporized. Pretty much everybody dying. Unicron eating planets. “You’ve Got the Touch”.

I thought it was OK. I just wish every review I read didn’t say it was about a band of post-apocalyptic traveling players.

Yes, there is an apocalypse. Yes, there is traveling. But there is precious little playing. If you were looking, as I was, for a story about theater folks who really believe the show *must* go

An actual conversation I just had with Diane:

The mental image of Thanos standing in the parking lot of a Home Depot watching two stoned high school kids try to strap that Christmas tree to the roof of his car brings me a lot of joy.

Brings new perspective to the whole trend of ‘oh the places you’ll go’

Draco Malfoy and He Really Wants To Go Home Now

I’m pretty sure Guardians of the Galaxy would have been even better if it was told from Gamora’s perspective instead of Starlord’s.

2001: A Space Odyssey from the point of view of HAL. Poole and Bowman literally could not be any whiter or duller in the flick—they’re not the story’s heroes—they’re just ciphers to move the plot along (slowly, very slowly).

1. Spike 2. Willow 3. Giles 4. Xander (Halfway through season 3 on. Before then he was often an annoying M’Lady FriendZoner) 5. Tie between Faith and Anya. Anya’s more fun but I have the worst crush on Faith.

That breakup!!!!!!!!! Goddammit all to hell!!!!!!!! I HATED that episode. HATED it. It was everything that drives me insane about costume dramas. If these goddam people would just TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!!! Ugh. (Having said that, I still watch costume dramas and continued watching Buffy.)

Great movie, probably not great for a date.

But he had never imagined an angel like Kaym, with his hard-core style, terrible beauty, and distinctly unangelic disposition.”

Every time I read Spike’s name, it still makes me stomach all yucky.

For the same reason we always needed them:
