That guy is like the Avatar of the 80s.

RIP

I like it... but Preacher is the most Graphic Novel-y show I’ve ever seen. Right down to the weird 1800s Cowboy Plot that seems mostly unconnected to the main one, and the random asides to characters that will be important later, but who you are introduced in really small scenes that leave you going ‘who?’

It’s funny how the ‘heroes and villains on both sides’ of a conflict can result in a really muddled mess in these big battle epics. Remember Kingdom of Heaven? It spends so much time making the Crusaders evil, and building up the army of Saladin as the moderate and sophisticated side, that in the end, it was hard to

I think character death is fine, as long as you still have a good crop of other/new characters to keep things going. The worst is when you get a show like Lost which stubbornly kept trying to murder all of my favorites so Jack and Kate could feel sad, when the show would have been better without both of them gone,

Let’s hope Netflix has a spot at the bar for her.

Enjoy it while it lasts Jason. You have to sleep sometime.

We need more Carter gifs!

There’s something really off about that video... the orcs aren’t blending naturally into the background, and the human heads aren’t really blending into the armored CGI bodies. I noticed that earlier, but I hoped they just needed more rendering time.

Sometimes you have not enough heirs, but sometimes you have too many.

The Harry Potter books also largely ignore the Wizard’s role in English/British history. We know there is a Ministry of Magic, but it’s not like she explained whether wizards were involved in WWII, the Napoleonic Wars, or anything else.

Look out tanks. I’m coming for you.

This is one of those times when the easy route of naming them Eagle, Bear, Puma and Wildcat would have been perfectly appropriate. If there’s one thing we Americans like more than naming things after dead Native Americans, it’s having cool wildlife mascots.

So elegant.

The show Community did a GI Joe cartoon episode in its 5th or 6th season.

Suppressing fire!

Welp, the GOP has chosen the greater evil.

My only memory of Defiance is putting it on in the middle of the afternoon to see what it’s like and seeing an alien woman graphically banging some guy. I’m not saying that there shouldn’t be anything at all, but I do think you can over do it a bit. I remember Helix had some pretty long sex scenes between characters

I think my problem is I had other people take that skill, while I focused my main character on just wrecking stuff with a lightsaber. Why throw a lightsaber when you can jump into someone’s face? Why destroy droid with a spell when a lightsaber works? Never knowing that I’d have to solo Malik.

In my situation, I was Invisible, but otherwise not particularly different. They baited me into an area with the weakest person, and blew it all up. The annoying thing is that even the bait survived.
