My girlfriend was once having a meaningful chat with Piper while the Brotherhood stubbornly tried to destroy every car just down the road. Like, guys, can you just take a break for five minutes? Jeeze.

It was made inadvertently hilarious because right as the final bit of the quest started, Nick got super driven and wouldn’t let me give him any stuff.
You know, I never quite got the mime and quad stuff to work quite right... aside from the weapons I never really had to have it work, so I just never got it sorted out
One Wing Angel Seph really played like a pro. I queued up Knights of the Round, expecting to go get a sandwich while he just died, and then Seph shielded himself before the spell went off, survived, and cast Super Nova.
I feel like I saw a graph that showed adult stars are doing more work in a significantly shorter amount of time now than they used to. Something on average of 2 or 3 years, if I recall.
As far as recommendations go, I’d always recommend some of great but now a little older animes like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Escaflowne.... they are all quirky in their own ways, but with great world building.
Given that India sent a probe to Mars and Russia sent their Mars probe into the Pacific, I think they’ve got a lot of work to do.
Oh yeah, I think the whole zoo of bugs they threw at the humans was one of the best parts, but it did definitely make the bugs feel like the inferior opponents in general, not having much in the way of ship to ship fighting.
They had a couple of tactical nukes in the movie.

I figure we’re expecting a certain size for shoulder pads, and when they’re not big enough to land an F-16 on, it just look wrong some how.
Yeah, I feel bad for the humans having to fight orcs with arms as beefy as their whole torsos.
Yeah, I feel like I’ve had good conversations with people here, by and large, and gotten some good recommendations for books/movies/podcasts from various comments. Its too easy sometimes for a reviewer to like or hate a thing, and sometimes you just need to see why the other side loves or hates a thing.
I saw 3 with a great, excited crowd. I remember after they fled to the grandmother’s house, and you heard a car door shut outside the house, someone shouted “Oh SHIT, Toby drove over!”
What I liked about these videos was that just pronouncing the names for me made it a lot easier to get into, especially since some of the historical figures go through several name changes throughout the period, and its a pretty involved political landscape.
I’ve been enjoying them... especially since they’ve done some good sections on periods of world history I’m not super familiar, like the Zulus, the Japanese invasion of Korea in the 1500s, and so on. The authors are historians, and they’re pretty up front about it, but for someone that just wants a taste, it felt a…
