The answer is that a lot of people in this country are hesitant to call when something like this happens, and for good reason. Which means we need to replace the police force with a more effective solution that actually serves more people, such as community organizations and social services.

It helps to read the rest of the article before asking those kinds of questions in the comments.

You know defunding police is just going to make it so that less qualified, less competent, less supervised people get into uniform, right?

Dallas is implementing a “Duty to Intervene” policy requiring officers to step in if another officer is using excessive force.

Except these protestors were by all accounts peaceful until the police suddenly went after them. Nice try, but nobody is going to buy what you are selling, "democrat".

I’m growing convinced that the Great Filter for the lack of interstellar civilizations has to be The Social Media Age.

Pretty much. They put in a lot more time and effort to redeeming Catra, the Kylo Ren of the series. Of course, that’s probably because Noelle Stevenson had the entire story in mind from the beginning and pretty much knew how it was going to end from the first season.

Well Bethesda was a winner to me at E3. Succinct conference, the least amount of fat, and actually demonstrated most of their games. Horizon, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Shadow Warrior 2 and XCOM2 also had great showings to me.

So you say, but Steam Workshop and Mod Nexus are full of user-created mods for Bethesda games that add tons of crafting, survival, and customization options to make the worlds of Fallout and The Elder Scrolls more immersive.

I am fully convinced that this is the best movie made in the past ten years, for a whole slew of reasons. I didn’t even realize what an awesome feminist movie it was until a buddy sent me this link:

ME AND MY FRIENDS ARE ON OUR WAY

I WANT TO BE THE NUX TO ALL YOU PEOPLE’S LADY MOTORCYCLE GANG

I hate that defense. Sure, it was his first day as a superhero. Ive yet to spend a single day super-heroing, and yet I know that knocking down a building full of people, then ignoring the survivors to go make out is BAD. I don’t need to do it first to learn this.
