I think that is only part of it. The other part is uncompressed textures. With 4k gaming becoming a thing, those texture files are only going to continue to get larger.

You know, I can say I’m really surprised at the price. All things considered PCI-E 1-2TB drives were and still are going for at least $5k upwards of even $30k. So really If I had that kind of money to spend right now, I would gladly snag one of these up for such good price.
