Yeah it looks like the version that I was using was not Android 5.0+ compatible. Hopped onto the play store bought sixaxis and it works flawlessly, granted you need to be rooted for it, but if you’re up to the task I say root and play away.

Interesting, I’m rooted of course, but unfortunately due to Android L breaking PIE it seems SixAxis is hit and miss with users. Unfortunately it’s a deal breaker for me till i can get a OTG-Y cable.
