The preview trailers from Blizzcon showed another female orc character - to Orcs, gender doesn't matter. Warriors are Warriors to them.

Only because they insist on shoving Cyborg down our throats. HE"S A TITAN NOT A JUSTICE LEAGUER, they've been pushing him on us for over 30 years and it just doesn't stick!

Naw, in story they took the Blood of Mannroth, a giant Pit Demon and drank it - it made them all bloodlusty. Medivh just opened the Portal to our world for them to invade from (because he was the pawn of the WCU's big-bad, Sargaras.)

Well lets be fair here - it's a movie about a medieval fantasy kingdom invaded by warlike-orcs based on a story written by 25 year old game developers 20 years ago. How many women are you expecting going in?

yes, because when you mix in only the biggest stars you get that cinematic triumph The Expendables… and no movie with few stars has ever succeeded right?

See, as a WoW fan who REALLY wants this to succeed…. I don't. Keep it on target. Jokiness and in-game references to a minimum.

High Elves live in Quel'thalas, north of Lordaeron, which is north of Khaz Modan, which is north of Stormwind, which is where most of this movie is going to take place.

That's Santa Claus, and he was fighting Pitch. It's a classic epsiode. The Rifftrax guys are going to do a live version of it in December I believe.

TRIPOLADINE!

How could it be? Christmas Ape was a classic in the primate holiday genre.

Someone posted a link to this on Reddit the other week, so I sat down with my 8 year old niece and watched it, and she shared her thoughts

BTW, am I the only one who thought that Mac bared an uncanny resemblance to Jack Dalton from McGyver?

I know how Short Round Adventures ends - he has a grand kid who goes looking for One Eyed Willie's treasure with his friends the Goonies.

It just occurred to me that both were named after the dog. That doesn't make me like Shia's character anymore.

Agreed. i don't get the super-hate for it. It's not up to the other two movies' level, but it's not a bad film. I'd watch it anytime I find it flipping around (if I indeed watched TV all that often anymore…)

because physical film is how the person who created it intended it to be viewed in. When you try to preserve something, part of it is not just getting the content, but also trying to view it as the creator would have, so you can learn from it. Now if in 70 years I'm preserving "Guardians of the Galaxy" I want that in

I'm an archivist, and speaking as such: part of taking in a historical object is not just what it says - the pictures on the film - but also the object itself. Both the content and the object need preservation. Digitization only preserves the content. Better than nothing, but it doesn't really answer the real need.

I'm in it right now. I'm a big WoW player, so patch 6.0.2, the expansion pack pre-patch (Where they release all the new systems and improvements before the new content opens up, on Nov. 13, so players can set up characters and attempt to finish current content) is big for me. But I'm also a huge Smash Bros. fan, so

Calls 'em as I sees 'em. Whale Biologist.

Then watch for it to be wiped out of continuity within a year, given a new, less talented creative team, and become tied up into 1000 and 1 tie-ins to the latest event. Oh, do you think there'll be a world destroying peril to overcome that this unpowered girl from a DUMBO (neighborhood) clone will have to take 3
