Nah, makes sense. Think of it as a souvenir from the ultimate panty raid and you can see why they might have it.

If you have to highlight the pun through its spelling, the pun is weak. Bobby needs to upgrade his pun game.

Am I the only one who noticed this was Butthead’s voice and not Beavis’s?

He was happy Obama was at least using executive orders at this point. “About time” he said.

Just saw him today, and his response to a question asking how he’d deal with an obstructionist congress was to say he would know they have no intention of compromise from the beginning, so he wouldn’t even try to compromise with them. He’d steamroll over them where possible.

At least O’Malley’s getting something resembling acknowledgement of his candidacy.

Yeah, he’s been sliding toward sleazeball for a while.

It’s one among many (I mean, virtually everything the character does is horrible, and this is just the most recent one for me - and thus fresher in my memory). I mean, yeah, I can see Joan’s agency in the situation, but it isn’t a great example of total agency considering the circumstances she’s operating in. Pete,

Harry’s the one with the glasses who tries to get a partnership because Joan got one, right? I have trouble putting names to half the men on the show because white guy in 60s business attire makes it hard to distinguish sometimes.

I have only just met Bob, so I can’t say yet what I think of him. I’m prepared to hate him on principle, though, because as you said Ken is the only man on the show who isn’t utterly reprehensible.

Yeah, for a second. Then I remember he’s an utterly reprehensible human being and I feel it’s less than he deserves.

You really think people would love him? I mean, I hate Don, but I hate Pete more because Pete’s eager to pull shit like pimping Joan.

I mean, he’s not remotely likable after the second or third episode of the show. Don’s a sleazeball, but he’s so out-sleazed by Pete he looks squeaky clean by comparison. I mean, I think I’m most perturbed so far by his role in pimping out Joan.

So I’m a bit behind because I started watching late (currently in early season 6). Aside from Pete’s pro-Civil Rights stance, am I alone in wanting to see him fall off a building or have something horrible happen to him? Because fucking Pete. My hate-on for Pete is bigger than for any other guy on the show.

Do you think that commercial feminism will ever address the needs of the most disenfranchised, though?

Because Jezebel has a Hillary boner that won’t go down for anything. He’s extremely worth talking about; it’s just that acknowledging him would mean acknowledging his policy positions and how they’re nearly universally (he has some things I’m very much not on board with, such as his positions on Palestine and guns)

Yep. Not Hillary means he’s just not worth talking about except for things like this over on Jezebel.

Maybe this is what idiots mean when they say gay marriage will lead to things it logically can’t lead to?

He works well for literature (no surprise, considering he pretty much modeled his stuff on literature), not so handily for real people, though.

Porkitude?
