I thought, according to him, Comey was lying in his testimony? Now Trump lied about tapes in order to force Comey to tell the truth, leading one to believe that what Comey said was 100% accurate?

Yep. It’s worth looking at the NY Times piece on Trump’s lies, linked in the article. It’s more than just a list of his lies; it’s an analysis and makes the case that no President has EVER systematically lied about everything the way Trump does. And it also illustrates how bad he is at keeping his lies straight.

I had to take breaks reading that Russia story. This moron is their PERFECT puppet. He made their meddling so much easier. even if he is not smart enough to have colluded. He did great damage to our democracy and the Republicans just looked the other way.

If there’s any consolation in this its that it’s the least effective witness intimidation tactic EVER!

True, but as you say, Trump goes to another levels in terms of the number of jobs he says he creates and how integral he is to that process. I don’t think Obama ever said or implied that he singlehandedly saved these jobs or created these jobs like Trump is.

And why the hell not? After all, somebody has to educate people about rap... I mean, “sex crimes”, since the Justice system apparently isn’t going to do so...

He’s lied before about recording people. He claimed he recorded that reporter that he sued for defamation, and then it came out in discovery in that litigation that he didn’t actually record the reporter.

Sure, but he also has a really long history of lying, especially when he threatens people. But you’re right that with Donald, nothing seems too stupid to be true.
