The merger largely happened because TechTv was in a lot of areas and cable packages and G4 was not.  They cared about getting into homes, not the content of the channel.  The two channels had very different demographics, with TechTv leaning towards an older more mature demographic who was none too happy about MTV…

Webb is part of an indie dev company now and Sessler isn’t even in the industry anymore, so I can’t see them returning in anything other than an executive producer role.
