I buy into what many would consider "conspiracy theories", but definitely not in regards to this video. The sound of his head audibly slamming the pavement made me shudder. Not to mention the cops audibly gasped at it as well. Just fucking horrific.

I still need to finish FF7R (I’m in Shinra hq), but I’ve gotten hooked on Warhammer 40k Inquisitor Martyr. Just a fun isometric arpg set in the 40k universe. Old reviews don’t do it justice: the devs completely overhauled the game post-launch, and it’s in a really good state right now. Underrated gem.

Your opening sentence is quite apt: unbeknownst to many, the battle director for FF7R, Teruki Endo, was battle lead for various Monster Hunter games.

I did the same, but on my phone. We are the problem. :( Feelsbadman

I mean, if you *really* wanna go down that road, it makes zero sense for Sephiroth to appear in the remake, considering where he appeared in the original game.

Thanks for the video/write-up on this. While sifting through the new releases tab on the Switch this came up and seems really intriguing. Love the UI/HUD design and the music seems soothing. I think it's worth a try.

Looks really cool!

You’ve gotta get the roles to have anything to do, honestly. There’s the little bit of story in online, but that’s over relatively quickly. The roles are where it’s at. When animal spawns and camp setting work, Trader role is good. Always something to do, and the money is fine. Collector role is essentially a RDO$ atm

Good article. I’m 5 years sober and can relate to everything you mentioned. All I’d like to add is that *generally* sobriety gets better and somewhat easier the longer you do it for. That is not to say it is easy; it is not. I am also by no means implying there won’t be rough patches, temptations, or cravings. But,

Yep. The roles, as a whole, have really enriched the play experience of Red Dead Online. And the legendary Bounties are by far the best part of the Bounty Hunter role, which can get repetitive (and to be fair, they all get repetitive).

I’m usually not into much online gaming, but the Red Dead Redemption Online update that added roles has me *hooked*. I was kinda floundering about after finishing the main story and epilogue(s), wanting to stay in this beautiful world but running out of things to do. The update solved that problem, with myriad

Pretty optimistic time-frame you’re operating under there.

HMU when Rockstar finally releases single player content for RDR2. I know they're capable of it, as evidenced by Undead Nightmare. But single player content doesn't sell Shark Cards and Gold Bars, which is what their Take Two overlords have mandated. Really sucks for those of us holding out hope for it.

That’s the vibe I get as well. Like, they’re making an Avengers game, obviously in the shadow of the MCU, but aren’t able to use the likenesses, but are going with a “realistic” aesthetic; so the comparisons with the movie are inevitable.

Ugh. Just got dragged into coming to work tomorrow at the last minute. :( Still, will probably be able to beat the main story of Days Gone (still have to clean up tons of side quests and hordes), and I've finally jumped into Dead Cells. Haven't cleared a run yet, but I'm getting better and learning. Maybe next run

Considering this is running on the Decima engine, I’m anticipating the gameplay to be closer to HZD than it is to MGSV, unfortunately. Not that HZD played or controlled poorly; it played and controlled fine to me. But MGSV ran butter smooth and the controls were so tight (running on the Fox Engine) that I’m not sure

R* pumping resources into RDO rather than giving us an Undead Nightmare 2 really gives me the blues. I mean, I get it; R* (and their Take Two overlords) want to turn this into another cash cow/ATM like GTAO was/is, but after the excellence that was Undead Nightmare, I can't help but feel saddened as a mostly

No mention of the missing Princess mystery?

Funny you mention Arkham Knight; almost a year ago I got stuck on the drill boss, and moved on to other games (Witcher 3, Yakuza, Nier, and others), and just reinstalled it (and all the DLC) this past week. Tackled the drill boss with renewed determination (and a video guide) and beat it in 1/2 an hour. Still have a
