what the actual fuck

Considering that I have not played Sonic Mania yet and it’s significantly cheaper than this game, you have convinced me! I’ll probably grab Forces off the Switch eShop when it’s one sale someday or something. Thanks Heather!

...torture scene? Wait, what?

Ugh. I’m so torn. I love the idea of putting my many hundreds of Sonic OCs from my childhood into a Sonic game. I also haven’t played a 3D Sonic in more than a decade and I feel willing to give the series another shot. But I’m just having a hard time deciding, from its mixed reviews, if it’s worth the full price on

so, nothing :P

This situation reminds me of articles I’ve read about how much Adolf Hitler loved his German Shepherds.

Very cool! Thank you.

What is the entire list of playable characters? Are Lapis and Peridot included?

Of course I understand that. Do you understand that needing to reap a profit doesn’t immediately excuse their blatant mismanagement and over-the-top expectations regarding this game?

Awesome investigation and article, Jason. I’m not too interested in games like these, so I never really had any hype horse in this race, but it was still an amazing read.

I love how much I and this article triggered you stalwart Rationals. I am truly the outraged one here, not you

nobody brought up anything about a trope but the guy who decided he needed to whine about the imaginary SJWs

OMG someone calmly and mildly criticized something in a game we better type up a whiny comment accusing the author of being more mad than he actually was

This was probably in development long before the Switch came out... I would love to see a port of it though.

What does this have to do with what I said, exactly?

It’s not impossible, I could plausibly see her eye being a second gem. But it looks nothing like her chest gem, and fusions of two different gems are taboo on homeworld, so it’s very very unlikely in my opinion.

omg. that fro, that unibrow, that Ghirahim robe. I’m in love.

> pretending Ian Miles Cheong gives a shit about women outside an opportunity to stick it to progressives

Man, I have no interest in South Park anymore and I haven’t watched it in years. When I was a kid I had a similar experience - “ooh, I’m getting away with something, I’m watching something I shouldn’t watch” - but that’s an inherently childish reason to enjoy something and as an adult that isn’t gonna do it for me.

You said you were a casual observer and asked if there are no husbands....... sounds like someone who had no idea there was only wives.
