Match.com is not a good dating website. It doesn’t do anything to connect you with like-minded individuals, only with people who satisfy a bunch of demographic checkmarks. I’m not as old as you so take this with a grain of salt, but once I switched to OkCupid, I was in a long-term relationship within two months... and

Yeah, I mean, the problem is the breadth of different attacks you can do in Skyward Sword, and with so much ease. Eight buttons is quite a big demand xD

It sounds like it would work a lot slower than swiping in the direction you want, but it’s hard for me to say. But sure, maybe something like that could work. In any event, I’m sure it wouldn’t stop people from bitching about how it should just be a button. XD

I’ve never played it (and don’t really know anything about it tbh), but it sounds interesting, how did it work exactly?

The story in TP is... seriously not good. Actually it’s terrible. Lacking tension and characterization, adhering to the Rule of Cool instead of trying to tell a story that made logical sense.

I had almost no problems with the motion controls, so I definitely can. I have to say I’m really not convinced that buttons could have done the same thing they were trying to do, but it’s a hard thing to pin down because it’s so subjective. Especially when we have nothing to compare it to. Maybe we will someday if

So everyone always complains about the tadtones segment, and I think that’s justified. But it’s definitely the low-hanging fruit. What else in the game would you consider “bloat”?

Well, that’s true, I was exhibiting some hyperbole there. Probably not “everyone” will say that, but a significant number of people will. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone say that they couldn’t get far in the game due to the controls. If those people had a way to play the game, I’m sure they’d love

I had close to no control issues. The controls take some time to get used to, sure, but with some patience they really aren’t hard to master. It’s about learning how the game wants you to swing the remote. You have to be deliberate with it, it isn’t Wii Tennis. Nintendo did a really, really bad job conveying that to

My first Zelda was 3D. I grew up on the 3D Zeldas. When I play a 2D Zelda it doesn’t feel the same as the Zeldas I grew up with.

Okay but, which stick? The one on the left that you’re already using to move Link around? That still doesn’t replicate it; in SS it’s possible to move while swinging the sword (i.e., strafe to the left while swing the sword in an opposite direction). Or the analog stick below the sword button, that you’d need an extra

The tadtones aren’t even the worst shit in that game! For some reason when people complain about the motion controls, the stuff they had trouble with is never the stuff I did. The mine cart balancing while on the way to the Sandship nearly made me literally ragequit. And I like Skyward Sword. 9_6

I think it might be better to agree to disagree on the TP/SS thing. I could write a graduate thesis on how wrong you are. XD

TP being an “updated version of OoT” is exactly my problem with it. It’s really lacking in any kind of creativity or new ideas. Everything it does semi-okay, is done so much better in another Zelda. As a result I can’t help but find it immmmmmmmmmmmmmensely boring.

I’m 29. Sorry you’re so offended :)

I’m very sorry that I triggered you.

Correct me if I’m wrong, it’s been a while since I played SS, but you’re jsut describing the old combat system. The system in SS has way more sword attacks than that, which you can and need to perform in the game. There are two horizontal slashes (right to left and left to right), two vertical slashes (up-down and

Well yeah, hence why it’s fine to group the two together.
