As an actor, research seems to me to be part of the job. There was an enormous amount of content to refer to in preparation for this role, so if Dillane couldn’t be bothered to either read the books and/or watch the first season of the show once he was hired, then I don’t really empathize with him feeling lost

I wonder if word gets back to Castle Black that the campaign is going badly, would Shireen’s mother be the one who burns her? She’s the zealot, after all.

IMHO, I think that’s exactly what he was doing on-set. I think there is going to be a ton of fan-servicey stuff like that in the final season, for better or worse.

Not a wight, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes to Dany in a dream or something and he’s lying to protect that spoiler. I’m sure there will be more than a few fan-servicey callbacks like that in the final season.

This isn’t just restaurant bars. I was a bartender for a few years, and I’ve known of bar owners pouring cheap liquor into empty top shelf liquor bottles and selling the cheap liquor at premium prices. And I quote, “After one, they can’t taste any difference anyway.” I rarely drink anywhere but in mine or my friends’

See, I kept thinking he reminded me of Dennis on Always Sunny.

I thought the same thing. It’s going to be some weak mix that’s 9 parts sweet/sour to 1 part booze. The sheer amount alcohol that is supposed to be in a legit LIT would cost more than a dollar at cost, so I can’t seem them giving that shit away for a buck unless it is super diluted with mix/Coke.

Truly, Ms. Conduct made this episode an A all by herself, m’alright?

From what I understand, she doesn’t show up until Part Two.

Only God Forgives stands as the only movie to make me legitimately angry that I wasted two hours of my life watching it. Refn is an amazing visual artist, but I’m pretty much done with his BS at this point.

I would throw Fort Worth’s hat into the ring of a small-big Texas city that has quite a bit to offer travelers. It’s got a great vibe, and it’s next door to all the touristy stuff in Arlington, and Dallas is just a little further down the road, if they want to hit the Metroplex trifecta.

That “kicking my own ass” schtick seemed more like a Liar Liar homage. The glitching got really old, really fast, and come on.....he was launching his head full force into metal. He’d be eight kinds of concussed and his face would be ground meat. He looked barely scathed when he was walking away from the building at

OMG that fucking hair of his! I’m surprised he was willing to go with such a subdued look for Murder on the Orient Express, I’m sure it was a real heated argument between him and Branaugh over whether Ratchett should or should not wear eyeliner.

That was my immediate thought. He might “fire” Elliot, but I think he’ll try to find out why Angela wants him fired whether she likes it or not.

I LOVE Papa Murphy’s. The only one near me closed down and I miss it dearly. If I was planning on a lazy night in, I liked being able to go by there and pick it up, put in the fridge, and then heat it up any old time I wanted to without fucking with the added cost/time of delivery.

Exactly. Season 3 Daario was much more what I imagined the character to be (without all the colored hair and weird beard-ery).

I remember full-service stations. They disappeared in my part of Texas before I was old enough to need gas, and it is a luxury I would be willing to pay for now that I have to pump my own.

All of those actors were in the film in question, hence they “would have seen 1 and 2 firsthand”, aka they would have witnessed Von Trier’s behavior toward Bjork after takes. Also, while Bjork isn’t considered a prominent actor even today, she’s a lot more famous than Peter Stormare or David Morse, then and now.

That’s why it is hard for me. I know my mom doesn’t view her behavior as vindictive or intentional. She has mental problems. But she doesn’t have the self awareness to see that what she does is wrong and needs to change, so how do you make a situation like that work? They can’t change if they can’t acknowledge what’s
