I wish you were right, but Tim Curry suffered a debilitating stroke a number of years ago and still suffers from paralysis and is wheelchair-bound. IT deserves an updated film version for sure, and it is so tragic that Tim Curry can’t reprise his role, because he was the only reason that first miniseries was memorable.
