I did the math to comment on a Lifehacker post, and I’ve realized I’ve paid over $72k on my Parent PLUS student loans since 2013, and my balance has gone up $6k. Six figures of debt until I die, baby.

I found out this morning that my mom has Covid, along with my brother and sister in law at least. My sister may have been exposed as well. My mom stopped at her house on her drive home.

I was visiting my aunt and was surprised that her method to reheat rice was to put it in a colander and pour boiling water over it. Probably a bit much if you’re going to microwave anyway, but I’ve always enjoyed the results when I do this, it really refreshes the rice.
