I only screenshot if the story has a bunch of text and scrolls by too quickly to read- I tend to delete the screenshots right away. This will probably just encourage me to scroll through any stories that are moving too quickly or have text.

I’ve been talking about this with my boyfriend recently. We’ll probably elope for the savings/lack of drama, but I’m thinking a fun honeymoon would be roadtripping to friends and family and having get-togethers with all of them to celebrate. Obviously I’d love to have all of the people I care about together, but that…
I’ve never wanted an item of clothing more than I want that dress to wear to a friend’s wedding this summer.
Is that suit at :39 in the video Mystic? (This is probably more of a Jalopnik question than a Jezebel one...)
My old neighborhood had one that partially migrated to Facebook, but still had a strong email presence. It seems pretty common, at least in DC. “Gunshots or Fireworks” was always a summer favorite.
Replacing my hangers was such a life upgrade. I put it off forever thinking nice ones would be expensive, but I got 50 for like $10 at TJ Maxx. Such a simple thing to make me hate my closet less and to not have stuff constantly falling on the floor.
Lol are these the Torrid ones? Confusingly I have one brand of plus size jeans that have real front pockets and fake back, and my current pair (I think Torrid) are the opposite.
I’d consider google reviews, yelp, etc. I think public praise that might get more customers in the door (and counteract any negative reviews) would be appreciated.
Any chance we can get an article about the Garrett proposal? Maybe some experts with pros and cons, is it likely to happen, what other proposals might be out there, etc.
Yeah I’ve noticed a difference between the parents asking for work for their kids, and one kid who posts himself every snow storm/every spring offering to shovel, do yard work, etc. He seems to have it together, very professionally written email, etc. I can’t help but think he’s better served than the kids whose…
I have no idea. My roommate and I moved from a group house near Stadium Armory up to an apartment in Bethesda, so my boyfriend could move in to help split the 2br rent 3 ways. He and I are now moving farther out the red line to save money.
My neighborhood listserv has a lot of parents posting that their teens will line stand at the trendy no-reservation restaurants for people. It’s such a funny teen money-maker that wasn’t on the radar back when I was that age.
We have a cast iron skillet, which honestly he’s not the best about cleaning correctly or maintaining the seasoning. (Luckily it was a cheap yard sale find and not a family heirloom or anything.)
Yes, I will take all of the recommendations! I’m going back and forth between an electric grill vs. stove top pan, which will probably come down to storage space in the new place.
I’ve told my boyfriend I want a puppy instead of a ring. I feel like “let’s raise this thing together for the next 10+ years, (and make sure we don’t kill each other during the chewing stage)” is very romantic, and I want to pick out my own jewelry. Plus, I have a scheme to name the dog Merry, and then obviously we…
This is a classic summer “too hot to even look at the stove meal.” We usually have a few cheeses, serve with hummus, carrots, maybe a WF baguette to feel fancy, some fruit, mustard, honey/jam, cornichons, nuts, and obviously wine. It’s fun to mix and match the flavor bites.
Hello new cross stitch pattern...
My biggest work deadline of the year is on the 14th, so I think festivities will wait until the weekend, which is also my boyfriend’s birthday (no pressure!)
I remember this making the social media rounds a little while ago:
I use salted butter for everything and never reduce the salt listed. People ask why my food tastes so good, and it is almost 100% salt, both for cooking or baking.
