Normally, I side with the citizens over the police. However, I assume aerial surveillance takes place outside, in public. In public, you don’t have expectation of privacy. We have every right to video the police when their out and about. So in this case I’m thinking the cops can video the public. Also, I don’t think

The top image is misleading; this won’t be those drones you could get from Amazon and knock down with a strong arm, good aim, and a baseball; this will be more similar to military drones that will need “pilots, analysts, and hangar space” according to the Baltimore Sun article.
