I find it hilarious the trailer came out the same day as the WandaVision calendar heart date (in which both Wanda & Vision speculated that something important was happening on that date). 

Essentially the reason he became a renowned surgeon is because he took massive risks that paid off. Now he’s doing the same with magic except the stakes are much, much higher.

I can think of a few characters where Mephisto showing up wouldn’t seem odd.
