Lukewarm Take: 3-goal performances that include a penalty kick shouldn’t be called hat tricks, especially penalty kicks that weren’t earned by the person taking the kick.

Fun fact, I managed a few of our firm’s investments in a couple hedge funds ran by MidOcean. I was sent an LL Bean jacket with their logo stitched in the back at Christmas.

All this “not ready for the pros” bullshit to extend control over Jr must have Kyler Murray REALLY regretting his choice to go get paid in the NFL, right?

Ahahaha, from his website in it’s current state:

Totally pedantic, I know, but:

Well, this is definitely the way to ingratiate yourself to your stepson

Holy shit, that’s insane. I imagine if anybody got hurt while running/driving away in a panic, the police would be liable, right?
Just kidding, I’m sure they wouldn’t be.

I asked this in one of the other articles, but didn’t get a response. Does the fact that there’s videotaping mean that the cops posing as Johns bugged the massage rooms with cameras? I can’t imagine there was just an open window for them to look through.

I like the idea of a QB calling an audible because he doesn’t have the right personnel on the field for the choreographed touchdown dance. It’s a new wrinkle to play calling strategy!

Am I a moron for not understanding how they videotaped this? Did they have a cop pose as a John and bug the room some time before?

Serious question, Can somebody who’s perused said lawsuit explain what they are asserting the false statements constituting libel were? There’s no fucking way I’m reading that myself.

I played semi-pro indoor and absolutely loved the kick save. I probably used it a bit more than I should have (sometimes on shots a little higher than my knee), but I felt it was a MUCH better option if you know you’re going to spill a rebound. The kick let me push the rebound back out a little further, usually at

Was scrolling down the comments to see if somebody else asked this first...
Also not being in the know on all things gun stuff (I have two shotguns for trap-shooting in a safe at home, but that’s about it), I couldn’t think of a legitimate reason why law enforcement would be exempt from this law.

I think it would have been fantastic if she just had a little note pad and made a very conspicuous tally mark every time he told a blatant lie, then just held it up at the end and winked at the camera.

Uh, when referencing “dumb things society has done”, did he really include legalizing gay marriage in his tirade? How does he get to keep his job?

Sure, for the hypothetical of being able to hold it for 10 years. And the timing of investment makes a huge difference. Starting in 1919 has a much different return profile then starting in, let’s say September 1929. And again, also taxes.

What asset classes are you investing in for this “modest” 7% return? If you can deliver that year-to-year, than congratulations, you just solved a HUGE problem for all of the state pension plans that are massively underfunded. Anything with a 7% return in this financial environment comes with a healthy dose of risk.

Thanks for that. Still a big chunk of change, but you’re right, the ability to reinvest directly into the roster is a huge clusterfuck.
