Good article! For me, chronic pain is the worst but anything bone related is a close second (wisdom teeth cut out of jawbone, both knees replaced at the same time). Pain management still has a long way to go for both chronic and acute pain.

One of our cats will walk right up to the laser pointer and stare into it (of course, we turn it off as soon as she tries to come over). She even recognizes the clicky sound it makes when we turn it on or off and will run over to get at it. But the actual dot on the floor? Not so much :/ cats.
