I didn’t say getting to the point where you CAN say it is easy - it’s effective when you can and do realize that it’s all you need and enough.

I was born in Scotland, grew up in Canada, so I have none of the idiotic racism that permeates the US.
I wish there was clear guidance on dealing with in-laws that think we’re “in the clear” because states are opening back up. They were wearing masks, socially distancing, buying curbside take out, etc. Then a switch flipped when stores started opening and they drove 300 miles to spend memorial day in a South Carolina…
WRT the original marshmallow experiment, it’s been shown that kids from low-income households do worse not because they innately lack self-control but because they’ve learned that resources may not be there if you wait. Kids from high-income households, where food is reliably available, know that resources (like…
i apply the same to bagels
I make a lot of sad garlic bread and I used to make it sadder when I would diet and it eat on light bread with I can’t believe it’s not butter (this like super sad bread)
I think the big issue I see with zipper merging is people dont get when to stop and when not to stop. If you want to merge anywhere before the merge point, merge while traffic is moving and there is a gap.
I think the issue with zipper merging is the sign that says one of the lanes ends while the other continues, looking like a “h” - if it was a “^” and said both lanes merge then people would act better.

That is a great idea!
My wife makes something very like that, but it also has some crushed toffee bar in the ice cream. I’d much rather have it than plain ol’ pumpkin pie.
Oh heck yeah
Especially when the article below this one is about adopting racing grey hounds.....
Don’t forget their Everyday Seasoning, which is sea salt, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, coriander, onion, garlic, paprika, chill pepper inside a grinder. Either that or the Everything But the Bagel seasoning are great on eggs, though I am not decadent enough to put both on at the same time. That would herald the…
I was a little unclear on that, too, but the author being American isn’t a requirement. Just something that’s widely read in America. The link to the 100 books on the list has a few examples.
I came here for just a large read jpg that read “NONE OF THEM YOU FUCKING IDIOT.”
What? I find it hard to believe that personal testimony from blogs and websites that sell natural remedies is unreliable!
“If it seems like I am picking and choosing the parts I like from this book here, it’s because I very much am.”
