In great shape & worth buying, I suppose, but not for that much scratch. It’s just “car”, much like the food in Repo Man is “food”. Its age alone doesn’t give me a nostalgic erection to the degree of the asking price.
<soap box>
Google something if the Powers That Be at Google are wise & throw something viable together right now. They have the resources, motive, & imagination.
These artists will adapt. My Space was once the shit. My what?, you may ask. That’s my point exactly. In 10 years your question will be tw-at?
I made an account when it 1st came out & barely touched it then, then never touched it. Then when Richey McCrybaby bought it, I “deactivated” it. I know what Twitter is, but still don’t really know what it is. Good riddance.
Waiting for George Soros to buy Facebook, or Meta, or whatever the fuck they are these days
Elon Musk will probably expect people to pay actual money for this truck.
Mixed feelings here. I grew up with gasoline powered engines. “Bruuuuu” excites me. “Niiiiiiii” does not, no matter how fast it is. That’s for like fans, washers, etc., & not Camaros, Chargers, etc.
I wonder if this works on the Raspberry Pi based emulator or other emulators.
Very nice vehicle in very nice condition, but 30000 bucks? Are you fucking kidding me? It’s a 40 year old mid performance Italian car with how many kilometers on it?
Snow Dogg: is that the name that Snoop Dogg uses when he performs in Utica?
All that impressive work & a slushbox?
Nah, you’d need another car to get across in time.
Asking price is just outside of the range of what I would consider for something in this shape. I would expect the window to go up & down better than a Bimmer’s. Would also want a once-over with the rubbery parts of the suspension. 10 years on a shelf may not be too good, & probably aren’t.
Meh car plus slushbox but it’s a convertible & new “breaks”, so even Steven. Worth the asking price until considering the state of the front suspension. I would offer not a penny over 400000 as is, but start at 3500 bucks.
If the 1970s were the Malaise Era for quality, then the ‘80s were the Malaise Era for design: angular & uninspired. I can’t think of any vehicle normally available during that time that I really liked, or was even in any way exceptional, at least nothing from the Big 3, or anything from Japan.
My apologies for my surliness. I feel passionately about the LGBT community to be able to live the same way as the cishet community. There’s enough suffering in the world that’s accidental.
Fortunately, this car wasn’t a rental.
