Hey Daimler-Benz, GM called. They want their multiple makes back.

I KNEW that the President controls the price of gas. </sarcasm>

That al having been said with some level of passion, I nix the idea of SAAB night mode dash. The purpose of having gauges is to look at them. If I don’t see most of them, then I don’t know what’s going on, & my autonomic nervous system suspects that there are bulbs out in the dashboard. I’m OK with the nominal extra

Hell yes to hardtops, 1/4 vent windows, all the analog gauges, real HVAC & radio switches & knobs, & colors other than gray (yeah, yeah, I know that gray is not a color).

There you go making sense again. . . .

Great condition! NP with an LS swap.

I have to say that the asking price is fair. In fact, it’s within “what the hell” range. I assume that it runs. Even if not, then it shouldn’t require a brain surgery degree to make it roll on its own.

. . . if you are going to make a big V8 super charged throwback. Two door coupes are dead. Long live the 4 door pickup.

I’ve [search engine]ed several alternative designs of the GM Alpha body & wasn’t impressed with any of them. It was an A for effort in most cases, but the proportions, as in this ‘70 Chevelle knock-off, are off. The proportions for the regular Alpha body based Camaro are weird too. But I digress.

The Edsel was a flop not because of the horse collar, but because no one seemed to know what it was.  What I mean is that FoMoCo made up Edsel to fit in between the Ford & the Mercury.  But some Edsels turned out to be more expensive than stripper Mercurys.

Those words would probably be very slurred.

Today’s candidate is impressively clean. The fussiest of OCD types can eat off it.

The 2000s called. They want their Lambo doors back.

Good for Mr. Harrison!  I don’t know if I would be able to land a plane as he did.  I’d like to think that I could.  Either way, I would be shitting my pants!

It’s not visually interesting (if anything the EV graphics and boring color make a bland original design even less palatable).

Pretty strong CP vote for me. This thing as is is worth nothing more than scrap value, unless you want to install a ICE. Since the EV componentry was stuffed in after the fact, a ICE would probably drop right in without any significant voodoo.

I similarly believe that multiple options should be on the table & considered about equally, at least at 1th. Gasoline powered engines have gone thru a revolution from the late 19th century until now. The same will potentially happen with other power sources. Development for a few may hit a technological brick wall,

Thanks, Obama.

Are you fucking kidding me? Rusty, banged up, not running in over a decade (& shittily at that), disassembled inside, & a slushbox on top of that.

Which will tank too.  But 3th time’s the charm.  Who will it be?  Place your bets now!
