I don’t understand why the Monaro had to be renamed for US consumption. The Holden Monaro is what it is. Those who are interested will know that it’s a GM product with an LS. All you need to do is put the steering wheel on the right side, meaning the left side, and have a significant assortment without missing pedals.

Asking price is “what the hell” money, bordering on junker money. The car runs & has decent bones. If you have the space for this & the heart (a bit of a masochistic streak helps), it’s good as is or put some elbow grease into it.

Asking price is less than “what the hell money”. More like salvage money. On top of raw material you get a vehicle that mostly runs that you can solve like a puzzle, do a hot engine swap with, or part out for a tidy profit.
