Potentially a NP in spades, but I don’t have the heart, or enough facts, to call this atut. Today’s candidate appears in surprisingly good condition for being left exposed to the elements for 10 years, but we don’t know what is going on inside or underneath. I don’t expect much good. I’d hate to renege on a deal after

Bobby pins usually have a ball of covering on each end, to facilitate going thru things without poking them.  So we have to remember that, for some of these suggestions, especially undoing a zip tie, the end should be stripped.  I don’t know how difficult this is.  Maybe you can use a bobby pin to do that.

So I guess that Bimmer drivers don’t like loud music.

I will concede that there’s little, if any, feedback felt in the clutch pedal of MBs, which is not desirable.  In theory I want a manual [everything], but if I had to DD a manual MB, then who knows?

They’re all missing pedals (I assume by the ‘90s).

I may be missing critical info because the ad is gone. But it looks like a good deal. This is 1 of those last Mercs that were good. This 1 is not even broken in yet. It’s worth a couple hundred bucks to get the hood all painted and shiny like, or funky wrap. Get the grille for the naked speaker.  NP!

Overall I sense C5.1 vibes, with a little early C3 up front.  I’m guessing that this isn’t available with an LS.

You just made me piss my pants, & I’m not even angry!

I’d be more concerned about the Karens in their SUVs bashing into me than taking a turn too fast. An LS would give me a fighting chance to evade collisions, I think, tho the oversteer would be glorious.

I can see someone who really wants a Lotus looking kit car with a Triumph base paying asking price, maybe.

It’s unpresidented!

Despite Gaetz’s loyalty to t**** and t****ism, the “t**** White House” passed on Gaetz’s request, worried that it would “set a bad precedent.”

Maybe it’s retro.

I’m impressed that the HOA (or whatever “authority”) here permits residents to do something so plebeian as - gasp! - work on their own vehicles in plain sight.

Throw in a built-in car wash in my personal Bentley storage unit & it’s a deal!

I can relate. My parents had a stripper 1977 Chevelle. 1 externally adjustable mirror. No air conditioning. Straight 6 (tho the 350 of the time wasn’t that much better). AM radio. About the only options were power steering & brakes (& slushbox, which is technically an option). Fell apart by 1983.

I doubt it. Touch screens are a driving hazard. You can feel around buttons while keeping your eyes, & concentration, on the road. With touch screens, with a hierarchy of menu items that you need to keep track of, & look at to sift thru, they are accidents waiting to happen. I resent that they are a thing, but

And Jewish space laser headlights.

Just like italic script, neon colors, & triangles, square headlights became a thing in the 1980s that suggested edgy innovation.  Mint!
