I don’t know about you, but knowing that I’m actually saving money, & not having my feelings manipulated by mind games, excites me.

What unhinges me is that, in purchases that ship to the buyer, given a choice of retailer, most buyers will choose the vendor that provides free shipping, even if the overall price is higher than another vendor’s combined price of product & shipping, just because they see the F word.
Part of the appeal, to me anyway, of shopping at thrift stores like the Salvation Army “Family Store” is the thrill of the chase!
. . . cheaper department store like Macy’s or Lord and Taylor. . .
I have to admit that it makes sense. I’d have to see this with my own eyes to see how well it was executed. Still, I’d live with it & probably not give it a 2th thought.
Agreed, but here’s the “but”. This 1 is a stick, & unless you’re David Tracy, you probably won’t get a Chrysler minivan with all 3 pedals on this side of the Atlantic.
Ah yes, the head gasket. . . .
No hemming & hawing from me today. CP even with an LS swap. Great idea, & my hat off to whoever did the work. But I just don’t see 23000 bucks in this.
We all know “the market” can be an idiot; it was that way for tulips and Beanie Babies, and now it seems to have happened to old trucks.
Pretty much agree with your assessment with 4wd vis a vis 2wd. I’ll concede that 4wd potentially comes in handy, but it’s not a silver bullet, &, as you point out, 2wd will do if you understand & respect what you’re driving on.
It is nice to see a Buick with a stick tho.
It is a bit of a white elephant.
Unless I’m climbing rocks (which I have done never), I agree, but would add a few sandbags over the rear axle.
6200 didn’t cross reserve for this? Seller must know what (s)he’s got.
I wonder which towns those were sold in.
Decent & respectable vehicle, meh price at best.
Can’t easily argue with that. That’s a straight up apples to apples comparison!
The bent wheel is probably just that. The less tire, the more chance of a bump digging into the wheel. It happens. Still overpriced tho.
ALL original/stock on the exterior and interior. . . except for the radio, springs, & possibly wheels.
My middle point of reference, at least for V8s, is 5.7 liters/350.
