I’ve played that Double Xp game called “baby” its a rough slog in the early levels but it gets better when you get to the later levels.

In terms of games that try too hard and fail, Daikatana often comes to mind for me, as an old fogey.

I think there are reasons this seems to be the case though I personally don’t think it’s actually true.

As a connoisseur of the finest garbage, I'm going to have to play these now. Thanks, other Zack.

Left Alive is one of the great bad games of this generation. As someone who loves games that try way too hard and fail miserably, I feel that if the game were any better, it would have been much worse. As it stands, it’s a game whose charm lies entirely in its patina.

Awww, is NerfNow one of those people who’s super bent out of shape that Rey didn’t trail with Yoda for like, three days the way Luke did? Those guys are no fun.   It’s Space Wizards with Laser Swords, take a breather fellas.

I was actually thinking the same thing recently. Last night I saw the new Star Wars. I dunno if it was bad or good. But I didn’t leave feeling like I did after Endgame. I didn’t really feel anything. And by that measure, for me, the movie was a bust.

It can still be fun to think of the merits of a piece of media, but

Yeah, I passed on it because the trailer just looked kinda “meh,” and then review scores were low.

I’d be interested to throw it on in the background knowing there’s a little more to it than meets the eye, though.

This is just the second time I’ve seen people hate Josh’s opinion, and specifically some people get mad

Oh man, I love Serenity. Quick correction, though. It stars Nathan Fillion, not Matthew McConaughey.

I watched it for How Did This Get Made? and I’m glad that I did. It’s so weird. The ending makes no sense to me. I kept wondering whether this kid, who was smart enough to y’know, couldn’t have found an easier way. And yet.

This movie was so awful, and to recommend someone go and spend any amount of time or money to watch this is absurd. This is not a movie about video games, and the outlandish twist only served to ruin what could have been a tense thriller.

Now playing

In Bob Chapman’s review of Uncut Gems, he spends the first minute of the post-promo video just repeating the phrase “Academy Award Nominee Adam Sandler”, because there’s a reaaaaal good chance of that happening and we’ve all gotta get used to that...

Adam Sandler is a character Daniel Day-Lewis has been playing for nearly 30 years.

she is a doctor, so i guess she has access to the cause and solution to any side effects. lol

i see you are a man of culture

Huh? Speaking as an Azn, I don’t think she’s ever looked NOT Asian. Her art style has mostly changed between semi-realistic in SF2 to more anime-style with the big eyes., but in SF5 she looks like a 3D version of her original SF2 portrait.

Likely a big part of her plan.

Most hollywood action/superhero stars are on something.

yeah i mean i was using ‘steroids’ as a catch-all. he’s definitely taking HGH and also working his ass off. i also don’t disparage it, he’s not an athlete so who cares.
