I beg to differ. Think about it: An op NPC That can take care of something easily but instead puts the onus on the new guy who’s barely had the experience to get things done. Basically the Boomers could have handled situations in a way to better the next generations but instead built themselves up and put the

“I say this as a man who hates memes to begin with

Okay Boomer.

Yeah, the whole point behind “People who have the time, money, and resources to take care of a problem that they themselves caused, but leaving the issue to younger people to do it and probably die in the process” gets lost on people who see “lol eyeroll meme”

The only way the analogy would have been better is if the

Life in Aggro hit it clean out of the park this time. The connection between a max-level, epic NPC sending a new player character off to do something they could do quickly and with little risk and the fact that much of the older generation is currently telling younger folk to “pull themselves up by their bootstraps”

So he means... like, all of SF2? Because, yeah, sure, we could make the case there if you’re comparing the whole of SF2 to the whole of Alpha or 3. I may be there with you on that one.

I have a fondness for the original character portraits, and especially the original announcer. When they changed the announcer for Super it sucked!

Well la-dee-dah, lookit the fancy private uni grad, regaling us with details about spending so much time at a bar. Meanwhile, for us mere state school peons going to the bar was an extravagance. We drank cheap beer and liquor at home, built lounge furniture out of the empties and boxes AND WE LOVED IT.

PA is making the point that Valve is making bad decisions and people will play it anyway.

I’ll give both of them credit for at least having a punchline, given Clueless Hero and DoubleXP are still in the roster.

Honestly Penny Arcade would have been good if they just ended it on panel 2. .8% people will buy it and play it and the rest will watch it on YouTube.

Penny Arcade coming in there with an obvious case of “we couldn’t think of a punchline that had anything to do with the game we’re discussing.”

whoa Xenix33

Funny how it’s arguably the 3rd biggest launch of the year behind the C8 and Supra, yet you’re complaining about a car website writing about it. It’s been two fucking days. Either log off and come back in a week, or deal with it.

Aren’t most of these awards bullshit anyway, just like with all award shows.

This is a weird comment. This article isn’t Star Wars related, the comment would’ve been more effective on the supposed 8th Star Wars article. Also, it’s Star Wars season with a popular show, video game and upcoming film. If there was ever a time to have 8 articles about Star Wars, it’s this week.

Don’t worry, as long as they keep getting assholes like you turning up to post jibes about the job security of actual people, they’ll have the traffic to keep going.

In regards to the latter two, I imagine it’s because the brands take a cut of the collaborative items and a significant portion of the money spent on Capcom Pro Tour items go into the CPT prize pool. I can imagine Capcom would still like people paying for those items.
