I guess I mainly valued him for drawing attention away from me, because otherwise I never really needed help just killing stuff since it’s one of select games where my “never sit still and be very aggressive” style of playing 3rd person action games really paid off big time haha. Plus I always made sure my ability

Awkward Zombie was a good one, but I have to say that the backup dude is so a goddamn G haha. He draws enemy attacks during intense battles, actually stays on the move and doesn’t just stand there in the midst of it all, and I dunno if he can die because in all the times I called for backup he never once did. I may be

Haha “we.” You’re alone in this. Literally no one has agreed with you. And my delusions and dissertations were backed with actual external content from many legitimate sources that back me up, which I provided in case you still haven’t checked them out...all you had was an old strategy guide. You literally offered

Thing about Arsenal, they always try to walk it in.

Wow, you’re still not over this? And that’s some bottom-shelf verbal gymnastics you’re using there to twist things when I’ve provided plenty of resources that back up my argument and show that I do in fact have some idea of what I’m talking about. I would say “how cute” as well, but it’s not cute at all, just sad and

I’ve never had a collector mentality so that kind of stuff totally baffles me. If I buy something I can use and don’t open it for the purpose of “collecting,” it’s because I bought a second one that I actually use.

Flapjack Phyllis got me. Almost ended up with a keyboard full of coffee haha

Wish I could actually be one of those sales. Why couldn’t I have been born a bot?!

A friend of mine worked on Returnal and has been sharing a lot of the articles first impressions, and I tell him that I can’t wait to play his game in like 2032 when I get a PS5 haha.

Honestly it improves the comic IMO, because the joke itself is pretty weak, and I mostly just got a kick out Ken randomly being in it. If it stayed within TLOU I probably would’ve just groaned and kept scrolling haha.

Slight correction:

Is there any rhyme or reason to the Street Fighter/The Last of Us crossover in Double XP? Not a complaint, it just seems hilariously out of left field haha.

At first I thought they might have created brushes with the heads and just painted them on, but then I enlarged the pic, saw that they were all properly placed, and proceeded to slow clap haha

Luckily I quit the Destiny business after the first game when I realized it was my second job haha. I would literally get home from work, eat dinner, then start my Destiny shift, and I was almost not playing anything else.

I literally commented on another Kotaku article that dropping Destiny was one of the things that allowed me to even address my backlog haha. I’ve been at it for a bit because I quit it before Destiny 2, but I’ve chipped away a decent amount of my backlog because of it.

I hit the same realization into my 30s, and other than the fact that it’d be nice to be able to play everything since I’m in and around the industry and I teach game design, I really don’t feel bad about it at all. I still just naturally have a bit of completionist in me, but I’ve learned to save it for games I really

Oh man, this reminds me of how hyped I was for Clayfighter 63 1/3 thinking exactly that (that it would kick ass like Street Fighter), only to finally rent it find out that it was a dollar store rip off of pretty much every popular fighting game at the time haha.

As someone who used to do this with NBA 2K, Madden, and WWE games until a little over a decade ago, it really does make a huge difference haha. Once I dropped those and kicked Destiny to the curb, I could actually say hello to my backlog.

I feel attacked by this question. Attacked!

I only wish this was some awesome “Sonic & Knuckles Lock-On” type of tech that actually put Dante into whatever game you slap the sticker on haha.

This is what I came here for
