He never lost the arm, just bound it so he wouldn’t accidentally kill his opponents haha. If you look at the ultimate versions of his super arts that require full meter in 3rd Strike, he reveals both arms for them since they require all his power.

Nope, never. But I’m pretty mild-mannered. I’ve gotten pissed at some games and flipped out a bit, but never to the point where I take it out on anything other than like slapping the couch or something haha.

If it did they’d already have my money. I’m honestly appalled that it doesn’t.

Stupid sexy Flanders!

A lot of competitions, from word games to sports, are about adhering to specific rule sets even if it requires un-training actions and reactions that feel natural to you. This is just one of those things. The fact that we have been taught to add “and” when listing items is neither here nor there where the game is

Hah! Good one

I personally don’t care about backwards compatibility because with responsibilities and other hobbies in the picture, I really don’t have it in me to be bothered to play old games when I have a mountainous backlog as it is; and I guess I prioritize new experiences. Every once in a while I might get a passing desire to

Trips definitely looks the part these days, but maybe they’d want a better actor haha. I wish Christopher Judge was a bit younger, he’s already got the voice.

I will tell my children, and my children’s children of your Kinja abilities

This post and all the replies are giving me some real nice nostalgia warm & fuzzies.

They do have Marduk, who uses vale tudo, which is essentially proto-MMA with less rules. Would be cool to see them implement a character that does have a well-rounded modern MMA move set.

Silat is super broad with a ton of variations; there’s definitely enough unarmed technique there to base a character on.

As soon as I saw her I was like “Oh, karate again” haha.

And neither of have nothing on Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising. Who needs a mech suit?

He was my first thought as well (probably keeping in line with fighting game politicians). G also holds the highest political rank of them all, since he is indeed president of the world.

I usually go through (single player) games and don’t really go back to them, but I have done this. I remember getting stuck in the subway area in Silent Hill 3 for some reason, and I just kinda dropped it to play other stuff. I came back to it over a year later and just somehow immediately went to where I was supposed

It’s gotten a bit healthier just by way of me actually having time to play them more. I have so many other hobbies and interests that I don’t really get burned out on them (I often still wish I could spend even more time playing games than I already do). I guess I’m still too occupied to just really binge on games

If you’re talking about the alley fight scene, I’ll cosign on that! There are definitely some exceptions, and I love that one haha.

Even outside of superhero movies, extended fight scenes just tend to bore and/or annoy me. I definitely have the same issues with it you stated, but I think part of it is also that I’m a lifelong fan and practitioner of actual fighting, so I pick it apart a lot of the action and get irked by things like inconsistent

If we’re not counting mandatory brightness adjustment, it’s always inverting the Y-axis...unless it’s one of those rare instances where I forget to, in which case it’s normally turning subtitles on.
